Treated in a nearby clinic, Jason is released back into Toledo, with a bandage around his eye. Now grown to a teen, he builds better weapons to seek his plotted revenge against the men. Beginning to know some friendly locals, roommates Isabelle and Reyn take him in for refuge for a few nights. Elaborating his dark past with the two criminals, Bardis begins to blend in as a criminal himself, hopping from roof to roof, while stealing cans of food and other supplies for his friends. A small nightly celebration between the three is disrupted as the men return to spoil the fun. Tied to a corner, Isabelle and Reyn are made fun of by the men, which completely angers Jason.
